Homework, assignments, school...and Christmas is coming to town

Its Friday night and I feel so tired after this past week -.- I have so much school things going on at the moment that I have been super busy, but I think that things will get easier next week. But on the other hand I do not mind if I have lot of things to do every now and then, because when I get started I can do lot of school stuff. But then again if I have just one homework here and there, I become lazy. But yeah in other words during the week nothing special happened, except on Monday we went to Stamina. Stamina is a Korean all you can eat restaurant. During lunch time it costs only 980 yen (9,8€) and since we had customer cards that price also included all you can drink (nomihoudai), which is normally 200 yen (2€). Stamina has all kinds of meats that you can grill, and they have sushi, kimchi, desserts and many more things. They even have cotton candy. :D Needless to say that I ate myself so full that I did not eat anything else on that day.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. On Sunday we went to this bamboo candle light festival. Well actually we tried first to go to the morning part of the festival, but when we got to the right station, in the middle of nowhere, we heard that the festival venue is about 15 min away...by car. xD Since we were there quite late, we decided just skip it and go only for the evening thing. Since we had some time to kill before the festival, we decided to walk there. It was about 5-6 km away. So it turned into a Sunday afternoon walk in the countryside. And on the way we stopped for a lunch at this really good restaurant, where I had chiken namban (fried chiken with some special sauce on them).

Bamboo light festival was really nice. It was held at old sake factory, which actually looked more like a huge mansion with its nice gardens and buildings. They had quit a lot of bamboo lights all around, which made the place look really nice. There was also a good jazz band playing music. And couple of us got a change to try on samurai armors. Oh and yeah, we got also a special tour of the place cause we were the only foreigners there and that place was in the out skirts of Oita where normally no foreigners would end up.

And finally I took today few photos of the Christmas decorations which are turning up all around Oita. This is funny especially cause they have been putting them up so early and that they do not celebrate Christmas like we do in Western countries. Here its more like couples thing for young people.

Ruokana on kaikenlaisten lihojen lisäksi sushia, kimchiä, salaattia, jälkkäreitä jne. Sieltä löytyy jopa hattarakone. :D Tietenkin söin itseni ihan ähkyyn, mutta eipähän tarvinnut koko päivänä muuta syödä.

Melkein pääsi jo unohtumaan, että käytiinhän me porukalla viime sunnuntaina bambukynttiläfestivaaleilla.

Mikä on sinällään hauskaa, että he laittavat koristeet esille näin aikaisin vaikkei täällä joulua juurikaan juhlita.
